How to Take Photos for Your Virtual Consult

To give you the best advice, we’ll need a few clear photos of your teeth and smile. Ask a friend to help, or use your phone’s self-timer and good lighting.

Here’s what we need:

  1. Front smile (teeth together) Smile naturally with back teeth touching.
  2. Left side view Turn head slightly right, bite together.
  3. Right side view Turn head slightly left, bite together.
  4. Teeth apart (open bite) Open mouth slightly to show top/bottom spacing.
  5. Upper teeth (from below) Tilt head back to capture upper arch.
  6. Lower teeth (from above) Tilt head down to capture lower arch.
